To achieve extremely high performance in low temperature environments, the second stage of this regulator has been designed with a special thermo-conductive thermoplastic neo-polymer, which has the ability to transfer heat like a metal, while preserving the design flexibility, chemical resistance and physical and mechanical properties of a conventional thermoplastic.
This allows for a dramatic reduction in weight, while still providing heat conductivity on par with metal components. Thanks to this material and a specially designed purge valve, it passes the en 250 cold water tests.
1st stage features:
- Hyper-balanced diaphragm (sealed chamber on mc9sc)
- 2 hp 7/16 unf outputs
- 4 mp 3/8 unf outputs
- Operating pressure: 300 bar (4350 psi) DIN version, 232 bar (3365 psi) international version
- Calibration pressure: 10 bar
- Chemically nickel-plated brass body
- High capacity filter in chemically nickel-plated spherical bronze
- Removable nozzle in AISI 316 steel
- Hyperbalancing system
- Anti-drop air spring
- Stainless steel calibration spring with micropeening treatment
- Piston sliding sleeve replaceable during maintenance
- Body protection in thermoplastic polyurethane
- Air flow rate: 4500 l/min
- Weight of internal version: 650 gr
- Weight din version: 510 gr
2nd stage features:
- More reliable front cover (more impact resistant)
- Downstream system
- Adjustable Venturi effect
- Patented anti-friction lever
- Body in heat-conducting technopolymer
- Large purge button
- Scratch-resistant surface
- Bayonet hood holder with safety lock
