Zoggs OW Pure Women's Open Water Swim Wetsuit
High-level wetsuit for open water swimming, obtained by combining 6 different types of neoprene with different thicknesses, elasticity and surface characteristics.
Flat 3.5mm Aircell panel, positioned frontally to ensure a combination of maximum flexibility and balance the body's stability in torsion. 2mm of thin neoprene on the front of the knee and shin to support a powerful kick.
Ultra-thin neoprene inserts calibrated in the upper body: 1mm thick positioned around the torso; 1.5mm around the shoulders and 0.5 very thin under the arms.
Main features
Body position : One of the advantages of this suit is the position in which it places the swimmer's body. The position offered by the OW Pure is perfect for a swimmer with good technique, since the variations to be made in breaststroke swimming, and especially in the extension of the arm in the water, are minimal. The different thicknesses stabilize completely and ensure that the body has a horizontal and raised position.
Shoulder Flexibility : The 1.5 mm neoprene used is extremely elastic, and provides excellent flexibility. In addition, comfort is increased by the 1 mm thick material in the armpits and on the sides, which is thinner and more elastic than that of the shoulders, allowing virtually total mobility and giving the shoulders great freedom of movement. In addition, this very flexible material makes the neoprene adapt perfectly to the armpits, avoiding chafing after kilometers of swimming.
Arms : The thickness of only 0.5 mm on the arms, decreases the pressure that the neoprene exerts on the forearms, biceps and triceps during the stroke. The fact that the neoprene does not oppress means that the swimmer has much less tension in the arms, which are much more relaxed, and makes it easier to feel the grip of the water.
Legs : As with the material on the forearms, the use of a flexible and comfortable 0.5mm panel on the legs completely eliminates the pressure of the neoprene on the calves, making it much easier to bend the knee slightly for kicking.
